Yay, actually made some cards......

So okay, I have CASE'ed these cards but it is better than nothing..... ha ha

I made 4 of these owl cards, the stamp set is from Papertrey Ink, along with the sentiments, the PP is Linen Closet, I just love the colours in this paper pad.... this card will be ideal for teenagers and men in our church, and that is why I made them.....

This card I cased from Jo Dumbleton, I made it in different colourways, aren't they gorgeous, I so love the colours used.... Baha Breeze and Cherry Cobbler from Stampin' Up! are definately my favourites. The stamp set is Vintage Vogue from Stampin' Up! and so is all the patterned paper..... I made 5 of these in different colourways for the ladies birthdays in my church....
And here are a few more of the colourways.

Anyway, need to get off, tons to do today, we are running church on Sunday and next Sunday too whilst the Pastors are away..... no pressure!! Have a great weekend all xx

Illustrator

It is my little boys 10th birthday today and so I made a birthday card for him to put on here in Adobe Illustrator. I am learning to use Photoshop CS5 and Illustrator CS5 properly, hence the digital layouts, today I tried with Illustrator and am very pleased with the way it turned out. I also dug out my Wacom Tablet that I got for Christmas about 3 years ago and have set that up with my computer, hence the string on the balloons was done using this..... I will learn this eventually..... lol

Thanks for popping by, hopefully I will be making some cards again tomorrow, so much to shuffle around at the moment. Have a great evening.... xx

I did one.......

Yes I have made a card at last, not sure I am very happy with it but I ran out of time so it will have to do. It is for my 9 year olds friend who will be 10, but he decided to tell me today that he wont actually have his birthday until mid February, he is just having his party tomorrow as they couldn't book the swimming pool at any other time... DOH!!! I could have spent more time after all.....

All the Patterned Paper used is Stampin' Up! and all the cardstock also. The Monkey, Happy Birthday and letters are all cricut cartridges (Create a Critter and Base Camp) and the bunting was made using Papertrey Ink dies.

Next up is yet another Digital Scrapbook Page, this is of the time we went to Dublin, I had never flown before and DH had treated me to the trip for Christmas..... since that day you cannot keep me off planes and all the family have been abroad loads of times since.

Hope you like it, have a great weekend all, I am sure we will although tomorrow is jam packed, boys are off to a pantomime in the afternoon so DH and I have decided to have a meal together in Prezzo, has been quite some time since we last went out on our own. Take care. xx

Yes you've guessed it......

I have been digi scrapping..... lol. This layout is from our trip to Barcelona in 2007, I love the bright colours of the market and food. I thought they matched the papers brilliantly.

Have a great day, should be back with some cards in the next few days as I have a few birthdays coming up..... see you then xx

More Digi Scrapping....

Well I have made more digital scrapbooking pages in the last week than I have made in the last 2 years...... ha ha. Am coming on in leaps and bounds with my learning digi scrapping, can now scrap a page totally from scratch, the only problem I have now is finding photographs, so am going to be taking my camera everywhere with me in future.... any tips on carrying it other than being slung around my neck like a tourist. It is a big Canon 40d so slightly too big for my handbag (which is big but not that big)....

We went out geocaching this afternoon and I took my camera, and then decided to let everyone else get out the car and I stayed in it as there was hardly any walking involved, they were both in supermarket car parks, so still didn't take any photographs. Wasn't sure if people would be upset if I clicked away in Waitrose and Sainsburys so I didn't..... any input on that please would be greatly appreciated.

Have a great Sunday, take care xx

Digital Scrapping

Well a Happy New Year to you all..... I have been badly slacking these last few weeks/months as I have been so busy and have been reflecting on my life, where I am and where I want to go and have loads of plans for 2011, this means I may not blog as much as usual as I may not be making as much stuff..... I am training in Graphic Design and at the moment am making digital scrapbook layouts so I can learn how photoshop works properly, I have always learnt bits and pieces and then forgot about them. After photoshop I intend to learn Illustrator so lots of studying etc to do. But I thought I would share some of my digital layouts with you that I have made over the past week, not sure I would print out and save them in an album as I feel Digital Scrapbooking is a bit of a cop out and that there is nothing quite like normal proper in real life scrapbbooking, but I may try a bit of hybrid along the way.

So without further ado, here are my LOs....

Thanks for looking and I hope you all have a good evening..... yummy kebab tonight, I really will get this diet underway at some stage!!
