Getting Behind.... Why are there not 8 days in a week?

I have been super duper busy, there are so many birthdays this month, plus Stampin Up! Training in High Wycombe and I had to make 70 swaps..... the new Stampin Up Catalogue is also out on 1st October so have been busy deciding what to buy and also making some examples using the new sets I do have. I have also just finished a Wedding Album for my sons Godmother who is getting married on Saturday, so it is all coming together very slowly.

So here are a few cards I have made recently, this one was for my Church Order.... I used Stampin Up Soft Suede, Bella Bleu Papers, Melon Mambo Ribbon and the background writing is the Stampin Up En Francais Background Stamp, so glad they are not retiring this one.

The next one was for a birthday, the image is from Whiff of Joy Stamps, the paper is I think, Cosmo Cricket, the cardstock is Stampin Up Real Red and the Ribbon is from Papertrey Ink, a real mixture on this one. The image is coloured in using copic markers.

This next card was for Father's Day, have I already shown this.... not sure, but incase I haven't here it is. Stamp Set is Papertrey Ink, as are the Cloud die cuts, the background stamp is also from Papertrey Ink, the Cardstock is Stampin Up Real Red and the Ribbon is also Stampin Up Real Red Striped Grosgrain which IS retiring at the end of this month. If you would like to see the current Stampin Up retiring list, some items are more than 50% off.... just drop me an email at LindaLloyd@gmx.net.

This card was also for my Church Order, the Patterned Paper is the Sweet Pea Paper Stack, the Ribbon is the Old Olive Satin Ribbon, and the butterfly is a Martha Stewart Punch.

And here is the inside....... made to match the front.

Hope you enjoyed looking at these cards, keep checking back as I hope to post more soon.... take care everyone xx

And here is my card, another for my order of 12 as I really need to get them finished and have only managed 2 so far, will definately have to get a move on, but it just seems to take so long for me to make cards, I am definately not one of you who can put a card together in 30 minutes.... lol

Mojo Monday Challenge Card

Mojo Monday Challenge Card made using Flower For All Seasons stamps thumbnail I am sadly lacking in card making at the moment, but the children have gone back to school today, and I have a 12 card order to fulfill so thought I had better get stuck in. I have stamped lots of images today, now I just need to colour them and make some cards.... definitely need to start on some Christmas Cards for myself and for the small boys to give to their classmates.

Anyway, I used some of my new Stampin' Up! stamps called A Flower For All Seasons... if you want to be the last person to sign up to my Stampers 10 Club then you can get this set free on your Hostess Month. I used Taken With Teal Cardstock and the sentiment is from Verve Stamps, I just love their scripture stamps. The Patterned Paper is Cosmo Cricket Early Bird.

Mojo Monday Challenge Card made using Flower For All Seasons stamps front And here is a photo of the inside, just used the same papers as on the outside to give it some continuity. Mojo Monday Challenge Card made using Flower For All Seasons stamps - inside I find it easier to make cards from a sketch so thought I would make this card using the Mojo Monday Card Sketch which you can find here.
Thanks for looking everyone... have a great evening. xx

Another Card to Share With You...

Have been making a few cards today and a little gift, but cannot show them yet... but in the meantime I have a couple of cards to show you.

For this card I used Cosmo Cricket Paper (I think) and the sentiment is from Papertrey Inc Stamps. The cross is too... I used Real Red Cardstock and flowers from my stash.

For this card I used Bashful Blue and Whisper White cardstock, the Bashful Blue stitched Grosgrain Ribbon and the sentiment is from Verve Stamps. The scallop edge was made using the Fiskar's Threading Water Punch and the scallop ovals were made using the Nestabilities. The patterned paper is the Bashful Blue Patterned Paper from Stampin' Up!
And that is about it for today, have a great evening all xx

No snow here, but I have been productive...

So the rain in Spain has come to my home town and it is miserable, and the rain is melting the last of the snow, guess that is what happens when you live on the coast.

Today I have been quite productive, I have actually made 4 cards and packed and posted another Stampin' Up! Stampers 10 Club order out to all the girls. But I am only going to show you one card, so that I have some to post when I dont make any.... lol

I got a lot of inspiration for this card from the Stampin' Up! catalogue. The Cardstock I used is Really Rust, Whisper White, Old Olive, and the Patterned Paper is Cosmo Cricket. The Stamp Set I used is Baroque Motifs, with Very Vanilla Taffetta Ribbon and pearls etc from the Pretties Kit. I used the same Cardstock for the inside but used my Martha Stewart Punch for the edges. The circles were cut using various sizes of the Stampin' Up! circle punches.
And that is about it for today, need to go cook a roast for dinner and maybe I will get time to sit and read my book whilst it is cooking. Have a good evening all xx

Another New Stamp Set....

Okay, well I haven't used all Stampin Up products for this card, but I have used a stamp from the new Fun and Fast Notes stamp set... so here it is.. this is a good value stamp set as it has 8 stamps for different occasions in it...

The paper I used was Cosmo Cricket and the buttons and ribbon were from my stash.

Have a good day all
