K Werner Colour Challenge.....

So here is this weeks K Werner Colour Challenge.


And here is my take on it, I have had to use Sage Shadow instead of Baja Breeze as the UK does not have Baja Breeze (unfortunately... all the colours we dont have are so lush)...





For this card I used all the colours above, A Rose is A Rose Stamp Set, and God's Blessings Stamp Set, the Ribbon is Pumpkin Pie too....

Oooh on a Roll Here.. Another Card...

So a post 2 days running, cant be bad... here is another card that I made yesterday, not totally Stampin' Up! but there is some of it if you look hard enough.....


The black and white patterned paper is something cheap I bought once, the red is Stampin Up Rose Red Patterned Paper and the white is Whisper White, I used the Stampin' Up! scallop edge punch for the scallops and the butterfly is an American Stampin' Up! set, my friend went to US for Christmas and brought me some back.... thank you very much. The button and brads are also Stampin' Up! Rose Red...

Wow a productive day....

After sitting at my desk this week looking for my mojo, it finally returned today, and I made a few cards, some envelopes and I am even blogging.... how good am I??



So I will share one of the cards I made today, and yes I even managed to use some Stampin' Up! stash too...

This is what is known as a Criss Cross Card. You just pop out the little card and write your message on it and pop it back in again. I used Basic Grey Patterned Paper, Stampin' Up! Rose Red Cardstock and Rose Red Grosgrain with White Stitching, I then used Bella's Bloom Stamp Set with Rose Red and Old Olive Ink. The wrap that goes around the card is Pretty in Pink Cardstock, I also used my Stampin' Up! punches to make the wrap decoration and the Tab Punch for the tab on the little note. The sentiment is from Papertrey Inc. I also used my Stampin' Up! tool set for the holes in the cardstock, check this out as it is such a useful toolset.

A Little Maze Book.....

But it wasn't made using Stampin' Up!.... I used my cricut to make this book, my team mates on UKS and I had a Maze Book Swap just before Christmas, a bit like a Secret Santa, but swapping Maze Books instead of presents. I will have to photograph the one I received as it is absolutely gorgeous, I just need to put some photo's in it first...

Hmmm not sure they are in the right order, but all the pages are there... hope you like it, and so easy to make too...

Well my new computer turned up this morning and after a few teething problems I have managed to transfer everything I wanted over to this one and boy is it speedy. So I will be back soon with more photos to update you with... have a good weekend all xx

Excellent sentiment set, you can use the big Congratulations, then follow on with one of the smaller sayings.

These stamps can be used with the Scallop Circle Punch for the round flower and the 5 Petal Punch for the five petal Stamp, these are excellent for many occasions, but I will be using the heart for some Valentine Cards.

Hopefully once everyone goes back to school next week things will settle down to normal and I will get around to making cards again, that is only if my new computer that is turning up on Saturday behaves itself, I have never had an easy time of swapping all my information across and I will have the added problem this time of my new computer being a 64 bit and this one being a 32 bit, I will have to download updated drivers for most of my software.... and cutting machines...

I will leave you with a card I made recently...

I think the papers are Laura Ashley, and one of the cricut cartridges had a flower so similar I cut it out and stuck it over one of the flowers on the card, if you look carefully you can just about see it, I also sewed around the outside of the card, the sentiment is computer generated.
