Have just realised I have 2 copies of the January Craft Stamper Magazine with the stamp on the front... I will post one out to the first person from the UK who leaves a comment and emails me their address.... LindaLloyd@gmx.net.
Certified Digital Designer, selling my own range of Digital Scrapbook Kits under the name of Digital Monsoon.
So finally I got my Why Not Make It Wednesday Tutorial edited and uploaded.... have had parents evenings, meetings etc this week and so have been really busy with family... hope you think the wait is worth it. I decided to show you how easy it is to make Embellishments out of Drink Cans, I did get DH to cut the top and bottom off for me as I am a liability when it comes to cans and sharp edges.... I also played around with the images on the video afterwards to get colours I liked more, but I was very conscious of how boring it would be watching me mess around on screen. I also think I got a better angle, although at one point you do see one of my cats walk along underneath my arms, luckily when it walked across my desk the camera did not pick it up.... ha ha...
And I have been dying to make a Tim Holtz type rose for ages and thought it would be ideal for using on the card I made using a tin embellishment... I did make a much grungier one using grungepaper, but it didn't really fit with the card, so it is sitting on my desk at the moment with all the children trying to nab it for various projects.... maybe I will need to show them how to make their own.
I did bling up the rose and the butterfly with Stickles Star Dust, you can just about see it on the rose but not on the butterfly, it really does sparkle in real life...
For the Card I used Basic Grey Wisteria papers and Elegant Eggplant, Sage Shadow, Almost Amethyst and Very Vanilla Stampin' Up! Cardstock, along with Very Vanilla Grosgrain Ribbon, also from Stampin' Up!. I have all the Stampin' Up! colours of cardstock and find that normally they will match with all the papers I have whether they are Stampin' Up! or not, so really pleased about that as it is good quality cardstock. Anyway, guess you are here coz you want to see the video, so here it is...
They hold all the copic markers as I have a selection of the Ciao (144 of them), plus another 100 of the Copic Sketch Markers and they all sat nicely in the racks together.... I now need to move them off my desk so have had to find another way of storing them.....
They are very heavy, so would like £50 each which would include postage... if you are interested please contact me on LindaLloyd@gmx.net. I would prefer to sell all 3 together, but will seperate if wanted...

I used The Green Stack paper pad for this card, I love those papers and wish I had bought the chipboard now. The punch is Martha Stewart and the ribbon is Stampin' Up! Kraft... the sentiment is computer generated.... so how about that I made a card using something other than Stampin' Up!.... I do so love Stampin' Up! tho as the quality is second to none...
For this card I used Elegant Eggplant Ribbon, Taken With Teal, Elegant Eggplant, Real Read, Sage Shadow and Whisper White Cardstock. The Lace Border Punch was used to make the scallop edge and the Patterned Paper is from the Spiced Cider set...
Hope you like it... dont forget to enter my colour challenge #3, the link is in the left hand side Column, under Tackle it Tuesday.... have a great day all xx
This card was made using Apricot Appeal, Pixie Pink and Certainly Celery Cardstock, the Patterned Paper is Kaleidescope, all from Stampin' Up!, a clear button and Certainly Celery Ribbon, I also used the Photo Corner Punch, the scallops were made using circles and sticking them under the curve. The Sentiment is from Verve Stamps.
And here is the inside, I used Pixie Pink, Apricot Appeal and Whisper White Cardstock, the Scallop Border Punch and the Five Petal Flower Punch.... Hope it gives you some inspiration...
I used Elegant Eggplant, Whisper White and Basic Black Cardstock... the image are the Stampin' Up! Rub Ons and the patterned paper is Nouveau Chic... the sentiment is computer generated and the Ribbon is the Whisper White Satin Ribbon from Stampin' Up! The dots around the edge are also SU rub-ons....
Hope you like it... thanks for the challenge Carol
And here is my interpretation of it......
I used Rose Red, Old Olive and Whisper White Cardstock and the Chocolate Chip Patterned Papers. The little flowers stamp is from the Level 1 Hostess Set Darling Dots...., and the blooms are from my stash. The sentiment is from Verve Stamps...
And the inside is above...... am definately into decorating the inside at the moment... lol
Have a great day all, may be back later with another sketch challenge entry....
Take care xx

Well another Wednesday is here, and this week I have made a tutorial on making Faux Buttons.... if you can make your own buttons then they can match any project you make and are always on hand, if you run out you can just make more..... did try shooting this video from a different angle, but still not ideal, will try yet another one next week.... will get there eventually... lol
Right, it is Tuesday fortnight and time to draw my Colour Challenge #2.....
Have not used all SU stash, I used a couple of Martha Stewart Punches and a Verve Sentiment Stamp.... the other stash is Rose Red, Sage Shadow, Basic Black and Pretty in Pink Cardstock, To The Nines Speciality Paper, Pretty in Pink Taffetta Ribbon and Rose Red and Pretty in Pink Brads....
and here is the inside of the card...... again Pretty in Pink and Rose Red Cardstock along with Basic Black, and the To The Nines Speciality Paper.... the white shape is a Nestabilities Label Die.

and below is my interpretation of it.... and it is the first card I have made in my newly organised craft area.... woohoo...
I have used SU stash, Pink Flamingo Patterned Papers, Basic Black, Tempting Turquoise, Real Red, Summer Sun, Sage Shadow and Whisper White Cardstock. The little blue button from the Button set, the Black and White Gingham Ribbon and the Black and Very Vanilla Striped Ribbon... The sentiment is from Verve Stamps and the little pearls are from my stash. The scallop edges were punched using the SU Scallop Border Punch....
Hope you like, will be back tomorrow with some more cards... have a great evening all xx

So not too much has changed on my main desk except I got rid of the trofast storage I had a put a 9 drawer unit in the middle instead, this leaves me more room to work and my monitor then sits on top of it, the drawers under the desk have been shuffled around a bit and my Cricut Expression still sits on my desk, I am worried that if I put it away I would never use it.... lol
This part is where most of the new storage is.... the shelves are kitchen units and I bought glass shelves for them as I thought they looked less obtrusive than wood ones, I also bought all the storage boxes too and there are even some that are still empty, they are the ones without labels in, yes I have finally got around to labelling stuff too... my flowers are piled sky high in drawers (yes I know why does one person need so many flowers and yet can never find what they want) and I got my mini sewing machine out to sit on the desk too..... the small white shelves that I had on my desk before now sit on top of the new white units.
Now this is the storage inside my mirror Pax Wardrobes, the middle sliding drawer holds all my current SU Stamp Sets and believe me it holds a lot, I do have most of them.... the top drawer holds all the SU punches that we have plus other punches too including my Martha Stewart ones... (I also have 2 other drawers of punches under the desk), the bottom sliding drawer holds my 40+ Cricut Cartridges and the white boxes at the bottom hold old magazines, US and non Current SU stamp sets and odds and ends to alter.... the very top shelf holds my PaperTrey Ink Cardstock and the next shelf down has my PTI ribbon and buttons....
This single wardrobe holds a drawer unit which holds tons of 12 x 12 Patterned Paper by loads of different companies, one of the large blue containers holds all my 6 x 6 and 8 x 8 Paper Pads another holds all my SU wheels and handles, another holds chipboard books and boxes, the drawers hold odds and ends like staples and staplers, spare blades for my Fiskars Trimmer, glue refills, small pom poms, just tons of odds and ends....
The above photo is of all the wardrobe doors shut, I chose mirror doors to make our bedroom look bigger when it is filled up with my Craft Stuff.... ha ha. Unfortunately children finger prints and dog noses have made them not so clean and shiny....
This is my SU Ribbon Storage, it is hung on the end of the Mirror Wardrobes, my other ribbon is in 9 jars which are in one of the blue boxes in the first wardrobe storage....
and this shelf sits beneath the ribbon with all my dies that I have left on it (I sold 100s last summer at a car boot sale)..... Aaah yes my Quickutz dies are in the Paper Storage drawer inside the mirror wardrobe, they sit nicely in 2 big books filled with special QK binder storage sheets....
This is my SU Patterned Paper Storage, my SU Textured Card, Scrappin Kits and Chipboard, plus I have snuck in some October Afternoon and Basic Grey, and my Scenic Route (RIP)... my SU stamp sets and refills sit on top of it....
I stamped the card blank with images from the Autumn Days stamp set in versamark ink... I used the Scallop Border Punch for the scallops and various different colours of the Stampin' Up! Patterned Paper.... The Happy Birthday and Thank You sentiments are from the Happy Moments Saleabration Set... I am just loving the Saleabration Sets for the sentiments....

This is a little tag I made using More Mustard, chocolate Chip, Whisper White and the Speciality Designer Paper To The Nines...
And here is the card I made, again using More Mustard, Sage Shadow, Chocolate Chip and Always Artichoke, the little leaves you can see come from the Saleabration Set Good Neighbours.
And here they are both together, would make a lovely card with matching card, maybe for Mother's Day...
